Junior Camp

Age: 4th - 5th grade          Price:$320

June 24th - 27th

Me and Us

Connecting to a group belonging. Each one leaves feeling the church is important. This is a time of interest in history, biography, and the natural world. Peers are very important. They have moved into the affiliation stage in faith development in which the sense of belonging to the community is primary.

Junior camp is an overnight camp lead by a director and counselors.

At this camp the camper will enjoy activities like: campfires, youth helping lead worship, group games, small groups, pool-time, orienteering and archery.

This camp encourages the campers to start to be involved in the community of the camp and participating in various activities and games through the camp.

Natalie Milne, Director

I have been attending Tall Oaks as a camper and director for over 30 years and it is one of my very favorite places to be!  I am an elementary school librarian during the school year and have two kids of my own who will be joining us at camp.  I also have two cats I love.  I am a member of the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Smithville, MO.  I can't wait to meet all the campers this summer!  Campers can expect love, learning, inclusion, and lots of fun!  We will explore Tall Oaks, get to know one another, experience lots of fun activities together, and learn more about our faith!  My counseling staff (including my husband) and I are so excited to be at Tall Oaks with you soon!
